The ACET Exceptions module is a dedicated area within ACET that caters for the recording, storage and analysis of anomalies (defects) and failures.

The information that can be stored against both anomalies and failures includes: details, measurements, locations, actions, cause, consequence, comments, specific defect information, images, drawings, repair details, links to reference documents, etc, thus creating a history of such occurrences.

The system displays all anomalies and failures on two tables which allow for quick searches and filters. In addition, the Navigator and Group Designer when used together give the user the ability to search on anomaly and failure specific fields such as type, closed out status, threshold crossed, etc.

ACET can automatically generate anomalies where a particular threshold has been crossed. The user can determine which anomalies are generated dependent on the threshold crossed.

Furthermore the system allows the user to report on specific information (cause, consequence, repair information, status, etc) associated with anomalies and failures.
