Hibernia are currently using ACET in support of their corrosion and inspection management processes on the Hibernia platform.

"Implementing a cost effective and technically efficient inspection program for a large complex plant such as the hibernia installation requires careful planning and coordination of the corrosion/inspection management regime. In order to gain the maximum possible benefit from this effort, all of the information and data which is gathered from inspections is entered into an ACET database, where it is easily accessed by experienced corrosion/inspection personnel to perform trend analysis, generate graphical representations of remaining wall thickness, and forecast remedial requirements for specific items. By having such a comprehensive data management and processing system in place, the consequences of any changes
in corrosion trends are readily discernible, thus enabling those involved in the asset corrosion control process to take immediate actions."
