Maersk are currently using ACET in support of their corrosion and inspection management processes on 13 of their North Sea assets and complexes.

Maersk Olie og Gas AS was established in 1962. In the Danish part of the North Sea, Mærsk Olie og Gas is the operator for Dansk Undergrunds Consortium (DUC) - a joint venture between A.P. Møller, Shell and Texaco - and responsible for exploration, field development and production. DUC’s production exceeds the total Danish oil and gas consumption.

This achievement is largely due to Maersk Olie og Gas’ research into methods of improving production from tight and difficult chalk reservoirs and to its development of advanced techniques in connection with horizontal drilling and water injection. In addition, the construction of alternative types of platforms now makes production from smaller fields more viable.
